Emperor Bill Mitchell

My fellow Courtiers I am Bill Mitchell from Phoenix Arizona.  I have the pleasure of serving my Arizona community as Emperor IX and as Treasurer on the Board of Directors.  It is my belief that each of us have an opportunity to help those less fortunate than ourselves through acts of kindness, regardless of size of the act.

My court journey began in 2010, when I was asked to come to a monthly meeting of the Imperial Court of Arizona.  I had no idea how much this organization would change my life forever.  During my years with this organization, I have been able to learn of charities that provide vital services to those in need in the state of Arizona and in some cases the entire United States.  These charities provide services to those who have suffered at the hands of an abuser to children who suffer from autism to veterans who are in need of a service dog to help them regain their independence.  I am extremely proud of the work my court and the entire International Imperial Court System does as they provide support to charities that in many cases depend on it to continue their good work.

My previous titles include of California Leatherman 2003, American Leatherman 2003, Arizona Leather Sir 2011 and Southwest Leather Sir 2011.  These titles helped me to raise awareness and needed funds within the Leather Community.   As an educator, I have presented at Spring in the South in Atlanta, GA, Club X in San Diego, Arizona Power Exchange (APEX), Los Angeles Pride, Long Beach Pride, Las Vegas Pride and Phoenix Pride Festivals.  My goal to dispel myth and rumor and replace it with fact and understanding.

I look forward to working with the Imperial Court Council and meeting many other members of the International Imperial Court System.
